International Exchange Students won the nomination award in International Architectural Design Competition

WOLTERS MARTIN (TJ student number 2193035, Technical University Braunschweig, Germany) and DOMINO MARUGAN ANA (TJ student number 2193030, IE University, Spain) , the two international exchange students of Tongji University, who have participated in the international architectural design competition LIVE IN THE SEA-LIVE IN SPACE under the guidance of Associate. Prof. Dr. Qu Cuisong in her Design IV project for 2021 spring semester with the same topic , won the nomination award in the sea level rise category of the competition. This international architecture competition was held by Jacques Rougerie FOUNDATION in France. Jacques Rougerie is an internationally reknowned visionary architect and a member of Académie des Beaux-Arts and the French Academy. His research and achievements are in bionic and bionic architecture. The foundation he founded encourages bold innovation in architecture and artistic creation related to ocean and space, with a view to nurturing Leonardo da Vinci, Jules Verne, and Gustave Eiffel, Frank Lloyd Wright, Le Corbusier, Klein... in the 21st century. The competition has been started in 2011 and is open to architectural professionals all over the world. Thousands of them have participated until now. This time was the eleventh session.
