The theme of this year’s Shanghai Summer School will be “Chinese Urban and Architectural Culture: History and Future,” which engages diverse perspectives and interdisciplinary studies across the fields of urban, cultural, spatial, and ecological studies in the context of pressing challenges from urbanization process, intelligent technology and ecological crisis.
