Research Profile

• Dr. Professor Zhuang Yu is chief professor of Urban Design Group in CAUP, he is also the academic board member of urban design in Urban Planning Society of China (UPSC), and national licensed architect (ASC). He was invited to participated the presidential program "The 50 architects in France" in 2000, his study is about urban design practice and decision-making supporting, upon his study, his book "Make urban design working" and more than twenty papers associated were published. His recent study focus on city movement network and spatial performance analysis, include research programs of NNFC of China and Joint-research center of Tongji University. Professor Zhuang Yu is also an experienced urban designer and architect, his works included urban projects, headquarter office building, commercial complex, education facility and residential blocks and more than ten provincial prizes were awarded.
