Brief Introduction
Except for the basic human needs for secure and comfortable dwelling, architecture in today's world has become a physical container for program, technology, culture, media, sustainability, and even politics and capital. The origin of architecture and the daily work of architects are increasingly affected or even dominated by these elements. In such an environment, we would rather focus on the ontological significance of architecture as the carrier mutually supported by tectonic and space, and use architectural noumenon as the core to respond to site and all internal and external conditions. We explore a dynamic architectural integrity to combine the iterating technical rationality with body & mind, nature, and society, to move forward to a symbiotic architecture. The lecture will take the recent works of Scenic Architecture Office as cases to share the design methods and practices on this architectural concept.
