The winter solstice is one of the most important traditions in Chinese culture; people celebrate the winter season with great respect and wish for a good year ahead. This December, students from CAUP INTL organized a dumpling party to welcome the winter and invited international students to join this meaningful event.

It is the first time for most of the international students learned how to make a dumpling, and it was such a great experience for them. Additionally, students were immersed into the calligraphy teaching, and learned how to write Chinese characters, such as “fu”. Below are some pictures from this event.
