CAUP Students Shine at "Experience China" International Youth Art Exhibition

On June 1, 2026, Experience China: One Art, Boundless Seas International Youth Art Exhibition and World Youth Artists Academic Symposium opened at the China Academy of Art. Four international students from CAUP had six artworks were ultimately selected for the Exhibition. Leeann Gabrielle Wong-Ng, from Mauritius, attended the Symposium as a representative.

Hosted by the China Scholarship Council and organized by CAA, the event brought together students from prestigious universities across China. Adhering to the philosophy of Art has no borders while cultures resonate with each other, the event is committed to deepening international cultural exchange and mutual learning among civilizations.

During the panel discussion, Leeann drew on her exhibited works to elaborate on her design and concepts, alongside sharing her reflections on pursuing studies in China.

She mentioned that CAUP offers many engaging art courses, enabling international students to gain in-depth exposure to traditional Chinese art, architectural aesthetics and indigenous local culture. She also learned to interpret unique charm of Eastern art from a new perspective.


She expressed that taking part in this event has further broadened international artistic horizons. Moving forward, she will leverage her professional expertise to promote cultural exchanges between China and foreign countries.

International students have access to cultural exchange events, Drawing on academic strengths, they showcase the charm of diverse civilizations through original artworks and promote mutual understanding and exchanges.
