Amid rapid urbanization and homogenization, cities are racing to showcase their identities through landmark architecture. Other than visual impact and beyond the symbolism of these landmarks, do they bring any improvement to the city and its residents’ lives? We would like to explore this issue through the projects by Heatherwick Studio.
