Research Profile:
Dai Shibing is a material scientist whose researches focus on historic building materials and conservation technology. After his Ph-D in March 1999 from University of Giessen Germany, he worked as the technical consulting director for building restoration and monument conservation by an international company in Germany and Singapore. From September 2007 he is appointed as Professor at the College of Architecture and Urban Planning, Tongji University Shanghai, and is the founding member of Architecture Conservation Laboratory of Tongji University, which is the . He completed as project leader over 20 international, national research projects.
