Research Profile:
HU Bing is a professor in Architectural Design and Theory whose research focuses on the interaction between topography and place making, especially the construction of rural villages and vernacular architecture in Huizhou area. His research is supported by the National Natural Science Funding, and he is honored as an excellent scholar by Shanghai Pujiang Program. His research, meanwhile, focuses on teaching programs for design studios of the freshmen and sophomore students. He has already published a book and several articles on his teaching programs, and won national prizes.
