Nagoya Institute of Technology (NITech), founded in 1905, is a very famous national university in Japan, as a leading engineering institution.

In February 2012, in order to develop academic exchange and cooperation in education and research, TJU and NITech established an agreement for this Dual Degree program.

According to the agreement, double degree students of TJU should be enrolled in NITech from the first academic year and start overseas study from the second academic year. The lectures for the double degree student at NITech are given in English as a general rule. In order to acquire the master degree, the double degree students should prepare two partially-different master theses written in English, and submit each of them by the time prescribed by each university.

In order to help the students’ overseas lives, NITech provide each student from TJU a free-of-charge university house during the period of study, and also provide a scholarship for one student each year.

By spring semester 2015, 7 students of TJU have been enrolled in this program, and 3 of them have acquired their master degrees from both TJU and NITech.
