Abstract:

The lecture sets out from the basic concept and understanding in urban studies as well as existing problems and vague views in interdisciplinary studies, and explains the complexities and contradictions of urban studies. Besides, it proposes that the discernment of concept, starting from the phenomena, understanding the conditions of theory application and conscious positions are the basis for the methodology of urban studies.
