Tongji University and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, USA, established cooperation in 2012 (RPI, America's Oldest Technological University, Architecture School Under NSF Future Cities Lab) jointly provide an International Dual-Degree Master's Program. This program follows a collaborative educational framework, wherein Tongji students undertake their first-year studies at their home universities and the second year at the partner institution, with credit recognition. Upon successful program completion, students are conferred degrees by both universities.
