Redefining the New Normal Activity Unveiled at 23rd Conference on International Exchange of Professionals

On October 21st, the 23rd China International Talent Exchange Conference opened at the Shanghai World Expo Center. That afternoon, the Redefining the New Normal special talent exchange event, co - organized by the College of Architecture and Urban Planning, took place in Conference Room 517.

Nine Brazilian experts discussed challenges and opportunities in architectural education, social sustainability, and heritage conservation in the Global South. Postdoctoral researcher Yu Yunlong hosted.

 

Scholars raised questions on defining environmental responsibilities in high - density cities and enhancing building performance. They also explored educational innovation and cross - disciplinary collaboration. This cross - cultural dialogue expanded theoretical dimensions and offered practical insights for sustainable development in the Global South.
