Abstract

Architecture and urbanism reveal changing conceptions of intelligence through paradigmatic practices, design methodologies, and prototypes. The lecture traces developments from historical precedents and early computational theories to contemporary artificial intelligence. Drawing on Verebes' recent publications, design methods, and a survey of built projects, it examines key concepts and considers how successive paradigms reshape design practice, human agency, and the production of knowledge.
