From March 26th to 28th, 2025, the 30th Asian Conference on Computer-Aided Architectural Design Research (CAADRIA 2025) was successfully held in Tokyo, Japan. This year's conference received a total of 893 abstract submissions from around the globe, with an acceptance rate of approximately 25% for full papers. Ultimately, 222 papers were selected for presentation, among which 15 papers from the College of Architecture and Urban Planning at Tongji University were included, ranking first among participating institutions in terms of the number of accepted papers. The paper by the team led by Associate Professor Yao Jiawei was awarded the Best Paper Runner-up.
The CAADRIA international conference in the field of computer-aided architectural design was founded in 1996, with its inaugural meeting held in Hong Kong, China. In 1999, it was hosted by Tongji University and has since become a significant academic conference in the global digital technology sector. At CAADRIA 2025, students from CAUP delivered captivating academic presentations across various thematic sessions.

Notably, the team led by Associate Professor Yao Jiawei, featuring Wang Jinyu, a second-year master's student, was honored with the CAADRIA Best Paper Award Runner-up for their outstanding research work.
