On March 17th, a delegation from Columbia University's Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation, including Deputy Dean Leah Cohen and Steffen Boddeker, visited our school. The reception was attended by Dean Wang Lan, Associate Dean Zhang Peng, Head of the Architecture Department Wang Yi, Head of the Urban Planning Department Zhuo Jian, Deputy Director of the Technology Center Xu Xiaoqing, Assistant Dean for Postgraduate Programs Yang Chen, Assistant Dean for International Relations Shen Yao, and Liu Shuxin from the International Cooperation Office.
Dean Wang Lan began the meeting by introducing the development of our school in the fields of architecture, urban planning, and landscape architecture, with a particular focus on the unique characteristics and strengths of our teaching philosophy and curriculum design.
Subsequently, Assistant Dean for International Relations Shen Yao provided an overview of our school's international cooperation efforts.
After gaining a preliminary understanding of each other's institutions, the two sides engaged in an in-depth discussion on potential cooperation in areas such as academic development and talent cultivation.
The visit concluded with Dean Wang Lan presenting souvenirs to the guests and taking a group photo to commemorate the occasion.
