On March 8, 2025, during the 35th Anniversary Celebration of the European Academy of Sciences and Arts (EASA) held in the Mirror Hall of Salzburg Palace, Austria, our distinguished alumna Wang Xiaohui was inducted as an Academician with the title Dominus. This honor marks her as the sole Asian artist to receive this distinction this year, and the first Asian art representative to be decorated at Salzburg Palace.

The European Academy of Sciences and Arts (EASA), ranked among prestigious global academic institutions such as the National Academy of Sciences (USA), Royal Society (UK), German National Academy of Sciences Leopoldina, and French Academy of Sciences, comprises eminent scholars and experts with exceptional academic reputation and achievements in European scientific and humanities fields. Wang Xiaohui's induction underscores her extraordinary accomplishments at the intersection of art and technology.
Wang Xiaohui was admitted to the Department of Architecture at College of Architecture and Urban Planning, Tongji University in spring 1978 and earned her Master's degree in Architecture in 1986. Recognized internationally as a cross-disciplinary artist of Chinese descent based in Germany, she has made outstanding contributions in art, design, writing, and cultural exchange. A recipient of the Germany-China Friendship Award, she has published over 50 books and art catalogues in the UK, USA, Germany, Switzerland, China, and other countries. Her portfolio includes numerous international accolades in art, film, literature, publishing, and personal influence. Beyond her personal artistic creations and exhibitions, she has collaborated with renowned global brands on large-scale international cultural and artistic events, all achieving sustained impact and success.
