The Presidential Delegation of RWTH Aachen University in Germany Visited CAUP

On March 31, 2025, President Ulrich Rüdiger of RWTH Aachen University in Germany and a delegation of 10 people visited CAUP. The members included Vice President for International Affairs Ute Habel, Chair Professor of Planning Theory and Urban Development Agnes Förster, Director of the International Office Henriette Finsterbusch, and others.


Vice Dean Prof. ZHANG Peng attended the talks at the Sino-French Center and later accompanied Prof. Agnes Förster on her tour of our college, introducing its overall situation. Prof. Förster then discussed potential collaborative academic projects with Prof. HUANG Huang, planning a China-Germany online academic exchange for the latter half of the year.


The delegation also explored the <Hudec> exhibition in Building C, curated by Prof. HUA Xiahong, showcasing Shanghai's architectural history and modern research.


Finally, they visited the Academic Innovation Base in Building D, where Director Li Wei of the Foreign Affairs Office highlighted student works and innovative teaching methods that blend tradition with modern design, earning praise from the visitors.
