Abstract:
In 2015, the economist Phelps pointed out in “Mass Flourishing”: In the past 30 years, China has become a moderately developed country by introducing capital and technology, organizing large-scale production, and actively participating in global trade. In the future, China will start the transition from a trader to an innovator, from a commercial economy to a modern economy. This lecture first introduces how economic globalization has promoted the development of multinational companies and global cities as their control and management centers. Then introduce the index system and ranking situation of the major international global city ranking research report, and analyze the characteristics of the interrelationship between the indicators of global cities. Finally, discuss the impact of the carbon peak and carbon neutral 3060 target on Shanghai's global city construction and ranking.
