“Tongji University-University of Hawaii Dual Degree Program” improve innovation and competitiveness through participation in international design competitions. Over 10 years, under the guidance of the faculty members from both sides, students participating in the program have won a series of international competitions award,  including AIA Henry Adams Award, AIA National Outstanding Paper Award, AIA Student Design Award etc., which greatly enhance the competitive advantage of the program. In 2023, Tongji students participating in the program won awards in three international competitions.
