Abstract:

As a research objective, “community” is increasingly discussed in the academia of China, the understanding of it is also in the process of iteration. The discrimination of the concept of community and relevant acculturation in the urban context in China is fundamental for value judgment and effective decision-making in urban issues. This lecture will also involve aspects such as diverse performances of the urban community under different spatial forms, community development and governance, and community design and review of related practices.
