From October 30 to November 3, 2023, University à IUAV di Venezia (IUAV) visited Tongji. Francesco Musco, Deputy Rector in Research, Maria Chiara Tosi, Director of School of Doctorate Studies, Margherita Turvani, former Director of the Master Dual Degree Program of Tongji-IUAV, and Carlo Federico dall'Omo, Research Faciliator visited our college, attended series of meetings and held lectures.

CAUP-IUAV work meeting:

From October 30th to October 31st, CAUP and IUAV held a two-day joint working meeting, in which both parties exchanged views on the cooperation intention, research fields for the development of future doctoral dual degree project. In the future, both sides will keep working on the details of program management, curriculum construction and etc. to lay a solid foundation for further cooperation. 

Welcoming meeting:

On November 1st, Wang Lan, Vice Dean, met with the delegation from IUAV. Zhang Peng, Deputy Director of the Department of Architecture, Liu Kan, Director of the International Cooperation Department, Yin Jie, coordinator of the Master's Dual Degree Program of Tongji-IUAV, and Li Wei, Director of the international office, attended the welcome meeting.

Since CAUP and IUAV established the cooperation on dual master degree program in 2017, both parties have conducted frequent visits, carried out multiple online and offline academic activities, exchanged visiting scholars and students. At this meeting, both parties reviewed the previous cooperation and looked forward to enhancing academic cooperation and jointly cultivating more international talents.
