城市保护及价值再现：意大利经验的历史与未来

根据联合国教科文组织《关于历史性城镇景观的建议书》，城市遗产不是各类纪念物和城市肌理的简单总和，而是一个通过历史、地貌、自然和社会关系表现出来的完整的系统，这些关系呈现意义的复杂层积性，是长期的动态变化的结果，这些变化至今仍在发生，并需要我们对其加以管理和理解。

鉴于以上原因，如果把历史城市从其所在的历史、文化和地区环境中剥离，我们将无法对这些历史城市进行理解、保护和管理。欧洲尤其是意大利，拥有历史悠久的城市遗产保护传统，可以一直追溯到19世纪。

本次讲座将首先关注城市保护过程中若干最为重要的问题，考察20世纪中期欧洲城市保护的立法方面，包括“空间艺术”（Raumkunst）、“环境”（Ambiente）、“城镇景观”（Townscape）等在内的一系列概念的发展历史。讲座将通过众多案例来展现意大利目前所面临的最严重的问题，以及近期一些研究项目应对这些问题的方法，从而推动一种综合性的保护和价值再现方法。

UrbanConservationandValorisation: PastandFuture from the Italian Experience

According to the UNESCOrecommendation of Historic UrbanLandscape, urban heritage is not simply thesum of monuments and urban fabricbut a comprehensive system marked byhistorical, geo-morphological, natural andsocial relationships characterized by a complex layering of meaningsresultingfrom long-term dynamics, where change is still ongoing and needs tobe managedand understood^[1].

On these grounds historic citiescannot be understood, conservedand managed if deprived fromtheir historic, cultural and territorial contexts.The Europeanand more specifically Italian tradition on urban heritageconservation have a long history going back to the late 19th century.

The lecture will focus, primarily, on the most significantissues of urban conservation, including the legislation aspect since mid-20thcentury and also the conceptual history concerning the ideas of“Raumkunst”,“Ambiente”, “Townscape”. A number of examples will follow to illustratewhat arethe major issues Italy is confrontednowadays and how they are addressedinrecent research projects, in order to promote an integrated conservationandvalorisation approach.

联合国教科文组织亚太地区世界遗产培训与研究中心（WHITRAP）是联合国教科文组织的二类国际机构（Category 2 Centre），是第一个在发展中国家建立的遗产保护领域的专业机构。它服务于亚太地区《世界遗产公约》缔约国及其他联合国教科文组织成员国，致力于亚太地区世界遗产的保护与发展。
