The West KowloonCultural District project in HongKong has aroused much public interest inmuseum architecture.  This public interest brings back the questionof therelationship between heritage buildings and museums: are heritage buildingsinherently suitable to be adapted as museums?  The speaker, Dr. Lee HoYin, explores thisquestion and examines the reasons behind this thinking. At the same time, he takes you through sixgenerations of museum designs tounderstand the ideological meaning behind the architecture.
