LI Yanbo

Yanbo LI is an Associate Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at CAUP, Tongji University. He has been the teaching director of the design fundamental program at CAUP. His research fields include sustainable community development, China’s modern and contemporary development and urbanization, historical district preservation and regeneration, urban elaborated cooperative governance, and architectural design and theory.

YANG Yang

Yang Yang is the associate director of cityLAB at UCLA. She received her Ph.D. in architecture from UCLA. Her research interests are transnational urban studies from a media/cultural perspective to rethink the politics of form, particularly focusing on housing, 20th-century East Asia urbanism, and urban humanities. She has been teaching architectural history and theory at UCLA, UCSD, and UNM and is involved in curatorial and artistic practices.
