Urban Design and Theory; Architectural Design and Theory
Dr. Yong CHEN is a Professor in College of Architecture and Urban Planning, Tongji University, China. He is also an architect and urban designer with 20 years of professional experience. He received his Ph.D. from Southeast University in 2000, and did a post-doctoral research of urban design in Tongji University afterwards. From 2008 to 2009, he was visiting researcher in the School of Architecture at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, Copenhagen. He has published the book "Urban Space: Form, Topology and Meaning" and a series of articles about topic such as urban form, public space and urban design.
