Remarks:
The academic research, architectural education and design practice of contemporary Chinese architecture, under the premise that learning to theories from “others”, are now facing with our critical practical issues presently, e.g., specifications, old tradition, technologies, construction competence, interest chains, and policy operation. It is high time to seek originality of Chinese architecture. That is to say, Chinese architecture needs to contribute innovations to the art of architecture rather than simply be followers.
