B.Arch. Program Introduction


The Bachelor of Architecture program prepares students for architecture specialists and leaders with professional capability, creativity and international scope. The program provides students with comprehensive education for architecture, urban, landscape and interior design practice, as well as research, education and management in the architecture perspective.


The B.Arch. program takes five years. The curriculum includes a range of compulsory and elective courses framed in the three academic areas of Architecture Design, History and Theory, and Building Technology. The Architecture Department offers the professional B.Arch. degree for student whom has past all compulsory courses and completed a minimal of 211.5 credits.



B. HAPE. Program Introduction


The Bachelor of Engineering in Historic Architecture Preservation and Engineering program prepares students for specialists and leaders with professional knowledge and techniques of Architecture discipline; theory, methodology and techniques of preservation and regeneration of historic building and environments; as well as creativity and international scope. The program provides students with comprehensive education for design, management and teaching in historic architecture preservation; as well as practice in architecture, planning and landscape.


The B.HAPE. Program takes four years. The curriculum includes a range of compulsory and elective courses framed in the three academic areas of Architecture Design, History and Theory, and Building Technology. The Architecture Department offers the Bachelor of Engineering degree in Historic Architecture Preservation and Regeneration for student whom has past all compulsory courses and completed a minimal of 185.5 credits. 



M.Arch Program Introduction


The Master of Architecture program prepares architecture students for advanced talents with both academic capability and international scope. Students are expected to gain in-depth theory and systematic skills of architecture; to acquire interdisciplinary knowledge; to develop a strong ability to deal with research, practical and managerial matters; to obtain the capability of international communication and cooperation.


The M.Arch program has six orientations, as Architecture Design, History and Theory, Building Technology, Urban Design, Interior Design, and Historical Architecture Preservation and Regeneration.


The M.Arch program takes 2.5 years with a range of compulsory and elective courses. All candidates are required to spend 1 years on courses, half year on internship, and at least one year on thesis writing. The Architecture Department offers M.Arch professional degree for student whom has earned compulsory credits and completed thesis defense. Additionally, candidates without undergraduate degree in architecture must complete 3 undergraduate architecture courses listed in the “Supplementary Courses” during their graduate study.



Dr. Eng. in Architecture Program Introduction


The Doctor of Engineering in Architecture program prepares architecture students for advanced talents, professional elites and Explorer for new fields, with strong theoretical knowledge, international vision and outstanding comprehensive ability.


The Dr. Eng. program has six orientations, as Architecture Design, History and Theory, Building Technology, Urban Design, Interior Design, and Historical Architecture Preservation and Regeneration.


The doctor degree program usually takes at least 3 years of learning, to a maximum of six years. All candidates are required to spend 1 year on courses and research proposal, aftermath at least two years on dissertation writing. The Architecture Department offers doctor of engineering degree for student whom has earned compulsory credits and past oral defense for the dissertation.
