On June 13, 2017, delegation of University of Hawaii at Manoa (UHM) visited College of Architecture and Urban Planning (CAUP) Tongji University.

The US guests include Prof. Daniel Friedman, Dean of School of Architecture UHM; Prof. Clark Llewellyn, former Dean of School of Architecture UHM and Director of Tongji-UHM double degree program and Assistant Prof. Lance Walters who was the supervisor of UHM team for 2017 Tongji International Construction Festival.

Prof. LI Zhenyu, Dean of CAUP; Prof. Wang Yi, Vice Director of Architecture Department of CAUP; Prof. Hu Bin, Director of Tongji-UHM double degree program; Prof. Zhao Weiyan, Prof. Tian Baojiang, Prof. Feng Hong and Prof. Zhang Xuewei welcomed the guests at C1 conference room.

Prof. LI Zhenyu first gave a welcome speech and made a detail introduction of CAUP, afterwards Prof. Daniel Friedman first congratulated the fifth anniversary of Tongji-UHM double degree program and then introduced their school structure and current status of international corporation. They had in-depth discussions on student and faculty exchange and the possibility of joint researches.
