In the summer semester of 2016, Ms. CHEN Yushan from Tongji-TU Berlin Dual Master Program, in together with her study colleagues Lucas Hellwig and Julia Ohlhert from TU Berlin, won the first prize in Urban Design Competition Johannes-Göderitz–Preis with their project GRANULARITY 8 - Designing Berlin's Future Neighbors: Bucholtz, Pankow. Teams from five universities in Germany participated in the competition, 3 projects were selected as 1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd prize. The project aims at easing housing tensions by providing a future oriented urban design for a blank plot on the edge of the city of Berlin. Ms. CHEN Yushan, the Tongji Master student from department of landscape architecture, had been selected to spend one year at TU Berlin for the dual master program from September 2015 to August 2016.
