Dec 15th, 2014, Commercial Consuls of Australian Consulate（General Commercial Section）in Shanghai, Luisa Rust and Karen Surmon and Senior Business Development Manager Bob Xu paid a visit to CAUP, Tongji. Director of International Cooperation Office of CAUP, Prof. Pan Haixiao, deputy director Dr. Zhou Minghao, etc., attended the meeting.

Ms Karen Surmon introduced the mission of ATC(Australian Trade Commission)is to promote the bilateral Economic and Trade investment and development, to strengthen the research cooperation between universities and firms, and the financial supports of Australian government for the promotion of Green Building, sustainable eco-city. Karen also invited Tongji to participate in “2015 Australian- China Forum: Green Building. Prof. Pan and Dr. Zhou explained the recent projects and cooperation between Tongji, CAUP and Australian universities and Architecture firms. Both sides talked about the possibility of co-organizing international conference and forum in the future.
