Notice on 2025 Winter Holiday & Safety Instruction

根据学校校历安排，现将2025年寒假工作安排通知如下：

According to the university official announcement, the detailed arrangement of the coming 2025 winter holiday is as follows:

（1）  学生寒假放假时间：2025年1月13日至2月21日。

The Winter Vacation for students is from January 13th to February 21st, 2025.

（2） 下学期学生上课时间：2025年2月24日。新学期注册时间： 2月22日、23日。

The official beginning date of next semester is February 24th，2025. Students complete registration for the new semester on February 22nd and 23rd，2025.

请同学们合理安排假期活动，按时离校、返校。

Please arrange your schedules properly and remember to leave and return to university on time.

假期安全提示 Holiday Safety Tips

为确保一个平安快乐的假期校园环境，学院特别提醒留校同学们注意安全：

In order to ensure a safe living and learning environment during the Winter Holiday, CAUP would like to remind students to pay attention to the safety tips:

（1）留校的同学假期内严禁在宿舍、酒吧酗酒，不准在宿舍吵闹、制造噪音，要养成良好的健康生活习惯、正常作息。宿舍内不准留宿外来人员。

Excessive drinking in dorm and bars is forbidden. Don’t shout or make noise in dorm and keep a good life habit. Visitors are not allowed to live in the school’s dormitory.

（2）放假期间全体学生必须遵守中国法律法规和校纪校规。尤其是谨防非法打工、签证过期、酗酒闹事、校外住宿扰民、黄赌毒等常见违法违纪行为发生。

All students must comply with Chinese laws and regulations in addition to our university’s policies. Please pay a special attention to the common violations such as illegal working with student visa, visa expration, unruly behavior due to alcohol, and disturbing others when living off campus. Stay away from pornography, gambling and drug abuse.

（3）在中国，任何涉毒行为都将会受到法律的严厉惩罚。包括走私、贩卖、运输、制造、非法持有、提供、吸食或注射毒品，强迫、引诱或欺骗他人使用毒品等等。

Any drug-related crime will lead to serious consequences in China, including Smuggling, Selling, Transporting, Providing, Ingesting or Injecting drug or forcing another to do that, and so on.

特别提醒 | Reminder:

大麻在中国属于毒品，严禁非法使用。

Marijuana is listed as a forbidden drug in China.

（4）遵守防火规定，严防火灾。严格注意用电安全。不违规使用电器，如电热毯、电炉子，不私搭电线，注意宿舍电器老化情况，如有发现异常，第一时间与宿舍管理部门联系。

Pay attention to electricity safety. Do not use the prohibited or high-volume electricity appliances，such as electric blankets. Do not personally change the electricity wires or structure without any permit. If anyone finds unusual situations of wires, please report to the front desk of your dormitory. 

（5）交通与出行安全提醒。遵守交通法规，注意交通安全。

Traffic and travel safety reminders: Please abide by all traffic laws and regulations and pay close attention to traffic safety.

（6）防盗防骗安全提醒。

Improve the awareness of personal information protection, strengthening anti-theft anti-fraud awareness.

（7）紧急事宜联系：任何紧急事宜，请直接联系负责老师，如遇突发事件，请直接拨打各种报警电话。校区保卫处: 6598 2404公安：110 火警：119 急救电话：120
