Héctor Navarro
Héctor Navarro is an architect and PhD graduate from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM). His doctoral thesis, Symbiosis and Boundaries between Architecture and Contemporary Urban Spaces: Analyzing Intermediate Spaces in Tropical and Temperate Climates, was awarded cum laude and received UPM’s Extraordinary Doctoral Award. As a member of the Architecture, Design, Fashion, and Society research group, he combines his academic role as a lecturer and researcher at UPM’s School of Architecture (ETSAM) with his professional practice in his own architecture studio. Both his academic and professional work share a focus on addressing contemporary challenges through innovative architectural responses, exploring the relationship between design, context, and technology. His projects range from curatorial and exhibition design to residential and urban-scale architecture.
