On June.21, a delegation of over 30 undergraduate students from Harvard University, Carnegie Mellon University, University of California, University of Chicago, University of Pennsylvania and other universities in the United States visited our college, engaging in a unique cultural exchange activity.
At the welcoming ceremony, Ms Liu Shuxin and Ms Xu Erfeng from the Foreign Affairs Office of our college extended a warm welcome to the American students who came all the way. They expressed their hope that through this activity, the American students could gain a deeper understanding of traditional Chinese culture and take this opportunity to promote friendly exchanges and cooperation between American universities and our college.
In the classroom of our college's architecture and built environment innovation base, under the guidance of Professor Hu Wei, the students embarked on a journey to experience fine brushwork art. After completing their fan painting, the students visited the design works of our college students, attended design class final presentation, and showed strong interests and curiosities. At the end of the activity, students expressed that they had gained a lot from this visit, not only learning the skills of fine brushwork art, but also feeling the charm of campus culture.
This activity not only provided a platform for American students to understand traditional Chinese culture, but also strengthened the cultural exchange and friendship between China and the United States.
