“帕拉第奥的理论与实践：时代与影响”研讨会

帕拉第奥的论著及作品已被公认为建筑史上的里程碑。他创造性地传承了维特鲁威的古典理论与古罗马的建筑遗产，广泛吸收了阿尔伯蒂以及人文主义时代诸多杰出人物的思想与实践，以持续的设计探索完成了一系列文艺复兴时期最美、最有影响力的作品。无论是别墅、府邸还是市政厅和教堂，帕拉第奥的设计语言既丰富又蕴含着根本的形式原理，对后世的影响延续数百年，不仅在西方各国形成了帕拉第奥主义及新帕拉第奥主义，甚至还拓展到西方之外的世界，并渗透在现代建筑及其之后的形式理论与设计实践之中。

2020年建筑历史与理论研讨工作坊以“帕拉第奥的理论与实践：时代与影响”为主题，通过多个议题的研讨交流，展开对帕拉第奥建筑理论、设计方法及其世界性影响的深入解读和阐释。

Palladio: From His Time to His Influences

The treatises and built works of Andrea Palladio are generally regarded as a milestone in architectural history. By inheriting Vitruvius’ classical theory and the Roman architectural legacy as well as absorbing the ideas and practices of the eminent Humanists including Alberti, Palladio designed a series of influential works in his period of Renaissance. His design language, no matter in villas, palazzi, city halls or churches, was developed in fundamental principles of form. With his influences lasting for hundreds of years, the doctrine of Palladio was transformed into Palladianism and Neo-Palladianism in western nations. It even spread to the Non-Western World and penetrated into the formal theory and design practice of modern architecture and its descendants.

This seminar in 2020, themed as Palladio: From His Time to His Influences, strives to provide an in-depth reading and interpretation of Palladio’s theory, design methods and worldwide influences.
