丹娜·卡夫
加州大学洛杉矶分校教授,“城市实验室”领导人
丹娜·卡夫是美国知名的都市学学者。主要致力于经济适用住宅、现代主义、郊区化等方面的研究。她是加州大学洛杉矶分校“城市实验室”的创始人,其研究曾参与2010年威尼斯双年展,并被CNN与Newsweek Magazine报道。自2013年Cuff教授开始了名为“都市人文主义”的研究计划。卡夫教授的著作包括《快进都市学》,《假设的城市》与《建筑:实践的故事》。

Dana Cuff is aprofessor, author, and practitioner in architecture. Her work focuses onaffordable housing, modernism, suburban studies, the politics of place, and thespatial implications of new computer technologies. She founded “cityLAB” in2006, and has since concentrated her efforts around issues of the emergingmetropolis. “cityLAB” was invited to exhibit at the 2010 Venice ArchitectureBiennale, featured on CNN and in Newsweek Magazine, and named oneof the top four urban think tanks in the country by Architect Magazine. In 2013, the Andrew W.Mellon Foundation launched a project "The Urban Turn: Collective Life inMegacities of the Pacific Rim," led by Dr. Cuff. Dr. Cuff has written andedited a number of books, including Fast Forward Urbanism (withR. Sherman, Princeton Architectural Press), The Provisional City,and Architecture: The Story of Practice (both MIT Press).
尼尔·德纳里
加州大学洛杉矶分校教授,NMDA建筑师事务所主持人
尼尔·德纳里是NMDA事务所主持人。他的事业开始于纽约,曾一度在日本从事设计,后搬到洛杉矶,在1980年代末已经是美国最有潜力的年轻建筑师之一。德纳里建筑师是南加州建筑学院(SCI-Arc)的创始人之一,于1997-2002年担任该院院长。位于纽约高线公园的“HL23”公寓是他的代表作。

Neil Denari isprincipal of NMDA, Neil M. Denari Architects Inc. In 1986, he began histeaching career at Columbia University. In the late 1980’s Denari’s work beganto achieve international recognition, most notably through his 3rd place finishin the Tokyo International Forum Competition. In 1988, he moved toLos Angeles where his office is based today. He is the recipient of the LosAngeles AIA Gold Medal in 2011. With NMDA, Denari works on building projects inNorth America, Europe and Asia. Denari lectures worldwide and has been aVisiting Professor at Harvard, Princeton, Columbia, and UC Berkeley among otherschools and was the Director of SCI-Arc from 1997-2002. He is the authorof Interrupted Projections (1996), Gyroscopic Horizons (1999),and Mass X(2014). The HL23, a 14-story condominium tower at 10th Avenue and 23rd Streetin west Chelsea completed in 2011, is a milestone of his career.
凯文·戴利

凯文·戴利建筑师是KDA事务所创始人。KDA致力于探索在矛盾的城市条件下的建筑,并对该条件进行干预。戴利是洛杉矶非常高产并有影响力的建筑师。他的建筑项目常处在老旧的城市区域,这些作品多为能激发城市更新的学校建筑与公共空间。他的代表作包括位于洛杉矶的CNCA校舍与Edison语言学校等。
Kevin Daly

Kevin Daly, FAIA, isthe founder of Kevin Daly Architects. For over twenty years he has pursued anarchitecture that delves into the paradoxes of the urban condition and theconsequences of intervention. Projects by Kevin Daly express his belief in anarchitecture that is performative on every level: environmentally,structurally, economically, and aesthetically. Bolstered by abundant research,he has demonstrated the benefits of advanced, unconventional buildingtechnology in works that are consistently recognized in publications andawards, and range from public schools, custom residences, and universitybuildings to affordable housing. He is a Fellow of the American Institute ofArchitects and is a board member of the AIA/LA Chapter. He is on the design facultyat UCLA and has served on juries or lectured at institutions internationally,including Stanford University, Cornell University, Rice University, SCI-Arc,the Architectural League of New York, the University of Texas at Austin, andRISD. KDA’s projects include the award-winning Valley Center House, fourschools for the Camino Nuevo Charter Academy, and the Art Center College ofDesign South Campus Building. Current projects in the office include themodernization and expansion of UCLA’s School of Music, a new housing complex atUCSB, and the new Edison Language Academy, an innovative language immersion K-5school for the Santa Monica Malibu Unified School District. The firm hasreceived over thirty design awards and been published globally.
