        伯纳德·屈米是当代著名的建筑理论家、设计师和教育家。作为建筑理论家，屈米著有许多阐述自己建筑理念和实践的著作，包括《曼哈顿手稿》以及理论专著合集《建筑与分离》等；作为设计师，屈米先后完成包括拉·维莱特公园、新卫城博物馆、弗雷斯诺国家当代艺术中心、阿莱西亚博物馆、巴黎动物园等作品；作为教育家，屈米曾在多所著名高校执教，并在1988年至2003年担任哥伦比亚大学建筑、规划及保护研究生院的院长。最近，屈米出版了新著《建筑概念：红色不是一种颜色》，这本著作全面收集了屈米关于建筑的相关理念和实践作品。屈米的建筑理念和实践对世界建筑界产生了非常大的影响，许多绘画和模型已被纽约现代艺术博物馆和法国蓬皮杜艺术中心收藏，并于2014年春天在蓬皮杜艺术中心举办了伯纳德·屈米作品回顾展——建筑：概念与记号。                    

        Bernard Tschumi is anarchitect based in New York and Paris. First known as a theorist, he exhibitedand published The Manhattan Transcripts and wrote Architecture and Disjunction,a series of theoretical essays. Major built works include the Parc de la Villette, the New Acropolis Museum, Le Fresnoy Center forthe Contemporary Arts, Muséo Parc Alésia, and the Paris Zoo.  He was the Dean of the Graduate School ofArchitecture, Planning, and Preservations of Columbia University in New Yorkfrom 1988-2003.Hismost recent book is ArchitectureConcepts: Red is Not a Color, a comprehensive collection of his conceptualand built projects.  His drawings and models are inthe collections of several major museums, including Mo MA in New York and theCentre Pompidou in Paris, including in the spring of 2014, a majorretrospective, with an important bilingual catalogue entitled Bernard Tschumi, Concept and Notation.
