讲座简介：

本讲围绕着历史保护能否推动上海中心城再开发模式转型这一问题，在三个方面展开讨论：首先指出，实现可持续发展是当代上海的根本性问题，在这一指针下，对社区、文化、日常生活和环境的加大关注正在改变城市发展的图底关系；接着讨论全球化时代的城市内部空间运动趋势，重点是1980年代以来的中心城角色回归及其城市性（Urbanism）特征；最后，基于上述城市发展问题和趋势分析，讨论重建历史保护的“内在导向”，正视城市遗产的价值多样性，发挥历史保护“改变环境”的能力，通过深度参与城市发展和治理来“保护未来”。

Abstract: 

The lectures foucus on the question whether Historic Preservation can push forward the transformation of the redevelopment mode in Shanghai downtown, and discusses it in 3 aspects: Firstly, Sustainable development is a fundamental problem of contemporary Shanghai, in this point, increasing concern with the community, culture, daily life and envrionment is changing the texture of urban development; secondly, the lecture discusses the movement trend of urban internal space in the era of globalization and put emphasis on the restoration of the role of city center and the characteristic of Urbanism since 1980s ; and finally, based on the analysis of urban development issues and trends above, the lecture discusses the "internal guide" of reconstruction of historic preservation, Correct understanding of the diversity of the urban heritage, exert the ability of “Changing the Environment” of Historic Preservation and realize “Protecting the future” through getting involved in urban development and governance in depth.

主讲人背景简介：

刘刚，同济大学建筑与城市规划学院建筑系工学博士、副教授，美国宾夕法尼亚大学历史保护专业访问学者（2006-2007），中国城市规划学会城市影像学术委员会委员。以上海的城市化与空间现象为理论研究和实践关注中心，主要的研究方向有：（一）基于建成环境发展史的中国近代城市空间形态和建筑类型学研究；（二）近代历史街区城市更新与城市设计；（三）全球城市中心城的当代城市更新与发展比较研究。
