内容简介

        White博士将在不同尺度上展示由他所主导的更新项目策略研究和实践方案——从城市规模到建筑单体。他的工作旨在回应不同设计语境下的城市问题：包括步行连通性，近现代建筑遗产保护和更新，遗产“剪影”保护，以及城市密集化与建筑保护间的矛盾。

        Dr White will present his designstrategy research and practice design propositions for renewal at a range ofscales – from large urban precinct scale down to the small domestic scale. Hiswork seeks to respond to contextual issues of pedestrian connectivity, pre-andpostmodern heritage retention and renewal, heritage silhouette preservation, andthe tension of densification and a desire for preservation.

Dr. Marcus White  PhD, BArch (Hon 1),RAIA, ARBV

White博士是屡获殊荣的建筑师和城市设计师，Harrison和White事务所的联合总监，并主管墨尔本大学的城市设计硕士项目。

他创新的设计方法研究得到了广泛的发表和展示。 他曾荣获RAIAHaddon基金，首届AIA国家新兴建筑师奖（对实践，教学和研究的贡献），AIA住宅建筑奖，澳大利亚和中国国家教学奖以及Graham Treloar研究基金。 他的研究与实践项目在最近的威尼斯双年展上得到展出。

Dr White is an award-winning architectand urban designer, co-director of Harrison and White, and leads the UniversityofMelbourne’s Master of Urban Design Program.

His innovative design approach researchis widely published and exhibited. He has been awarded the RAIA HaddonTravelling Scholarship, the inaugural AIA National Emerging Architect Award(contribution to practice, teaching and research), AIA residential architectureawards,Australian and Chinese national teaching awards and the GrahamTreloar Fellowship. He was recently exhibited at the Venice Biennale.
