讲座摘要：

空间不仅是社会不平等发生的背景，也是型塑和维持社会不平等的重要资源（符号资本）。在城市化不断加深的过程中，城市社会结构的分化，与空间的关联度越来越高。社会中上阶层越来越占据有利于自身群体的空间资源，并实现社会阶层的再生产。本讲借用西方经典社会分层理论框架，对当前中国城市社会结构进行细分，并以经验数据分析上海各阶层人口在物理空间、消费空间、公共空间等方面的隔离。

Abstract:

Urban Space is not only the background of social inequality, but also an important resource(symbolic capital) for configuring and maintaining social inequalities. In the process of urbanization, the differentiation of urban social structure has become more and more related to space. The middle-upper class is increasingly occupying the advantage space resources to reproduce themselves. This lecture uses the theoretical framework of Western classical social stratification to subdivide the current urban social structure of China, and analyses the segregation of Shanghai's population in physical space, consumption space and public space with survey data.

王甫勤，法学博士，同济大学政治与国际关系学院副教授，中国社会学会社会分层与流动研究专业委员会理事。主要研究领域为社会分层与流动、健康不平等、消费不平等。
