林君翰教授

Professor John Chunhan Lin


John Lin is a Professor of Architecture in the University of Hong Kong,together with Joshua Bolchover, he established a non-profit organization, Rural Urban Framework, to provide design services to charities and NGOs, RUF has built or is currently engaged in various projects in diverse villages throughout China and Mongolia. His research and design of Rural Urban Framework has been acquired by the Museum of Modern Art, New York, The Design Museum, London and the Canadian Center for Architecture, Montreal. He is the recipient of over 40 international design awards including most recently, the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) International Emerging Architect Award and the Ralph Erskine 100 Years Anniversary Award given for innovation in architecture that “primarily benefits the less privileged in society”. His recently published book _As Found Houses_ was awarded the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) President’s Medal for Research 2021.


林君翰,香港大学建筑系教授,他与Joshua Bolchover一道创立了非盈利机构Rural Urban Framework, 来为慈善机构和非政府组织提供设计服务, 在中国和蒙古,RUF已经建造或正在参与建造各类乡村建筑. 他的研究和设计已经被纽约现代艺术博物馆、伦敦设计博物馆和加拿大建筑中心收藏,并获得了包括英国皇家建筑师协会国际新兴建筑师奖和Ralph Erskine 100周年奖在内的40余项国际奖项,以表彰其“造福于社会弱势群体”的建筑创新。近期,他的著作As Found Houses也获得了2021英国皇家建筑师协会总统奖.

Assistant Professor Lidia Ratoi


Lidia Ratoi is an Assistant Professor at the University of Hong Kong, she holds a degree in robotic fabrication from IAAC Barcelona, and is currently coordinating the year 2 undergraduate degree. She works on projects investigating material ecology and sustainability in the realm of robotic fabrication. She is currently a DesignTrust Grantee, for her research project “Impossible Bricks”, which reuses Hong Kong food and construction waste as biomaterials, in pair with robotic fabrication, aiming to deviate the interaction with nature and technology from a human-centric, individualistic one to an empathetic, conscious one.


Lidia Ratoi是香港大学建筑学的助理教授,她在加泰罗尼亚高等建筑研究所获得机器人建造方向的学位,在香港大学建筑系管理本科2年级,她致力于研究机器人建造领域的材料生态和可持续性。受DesignTrust资助,她当前的研究项目“Impossible Bricks”将香港的食物和建筑垃圾重新用作生物材料,并与机器人建造相结合,旨在将自然与科技的互动由人类中心、个人化转变为具有感情和意识的视角。
