国际交流丨英国皇家建筑师协会代表团到访我院

3月31日，英国皇家建筑师协会（RIBA)首席执行官Valerie博士、中国及亚洲发展首席Umi Lyu、英中贸易协会教育和创新行业总监Isabel Xu一行到访我院，院长袁烽、副院长陈晨、副院长张鹏，建筑设计研究院副总建筑师文小琴、建筑系副系主任刘刊、学术发展部主任沈尧、外事院长协理田唯佳等陪同接待。
On March 31, a delegation from the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) visited Tongji University’s College of Architecture and Urban Planning (CAUP). The delegation included Dr. Valerie Vaughan-Dick, RIBA Chief Executive Officer; Umi Lyu, RIBA Head of Development, China and Asia; and Isabel Xu, Director of Education and Innovation at the China-Britain Business Council. They were received by Dean Phillip F. Yuan, Associate Dean Chen Chen and Associate Dean Zhang Peng, Deputy Chief Architect of Tongji Architectural Design Group Wen Xiaoqin, Deputy Head of the Architecture Department Liu Kan, Assistant Dean for Academic Development Shen Yao and Assistant Dean for Foreign Affairs Tian Weijia.
简短的欢迎仪式后，双方分别介绍RIBA及我院基本情况，围绕教育认证、企业合作、人才流动、数字化建设、联合办学、展览奖项等方向讨论国际合作可能，并达成初步合作意向。
Following a brief welcome ceremony, both sides introduced their respective institutions and explored potential avenues for international collaboration, including educational accreditation, corporate partnerships, talent mobility, digital construction, joint academic programs, exhibitions, and awards. Initial agreements were reached.
英中贸易协会代表Isabel表示愿在青年人才培育，AI与数字化领域提供支持，推动与英国高校在人才与学科方面深入合作。
Isabel Xu expressed support from the China-Britain Business Council for fostering young talent and advancing AI and digital initiatives, alongside deeper collaboration with UK universities in talent cultivation and academic disciplines.

同济大学设计研究院代表文小琴表示，目前设计院已与多家英国建筑事务所开展合作，未来希望共同申报国际建筑奖项，参与RIBA主办的展览，在更广阔的国际舞台展现同济设计。
Wen Xiaoqin noted that Tongji Architectural Design Group has already established partnerships with several UK architectural firms, and expressed hopes for future collaboration on international architectural awards and participation in RIBA-organized exhibitions, showcasing Tongji’s design excellence on a broader global stage.
此交流为双方进一步深化合作奠定了良好基础。
The meeting laid a solid foundation for further deepening collaboration between the two sides.
