Research Fields:
Green Architectural Design, Energy Saving
Research Profile:
Yang Li is an architectural designer whose research focuses on green building design and energy saving. Her research includes the synthesis of ecological design inbuilding aesthetics, functionality, form and envelope, among others. Her book, Green Building Design, investigates the harmonious development of people, architecture and environment. By maximizing the design potential of natural conditions and green design methods, healthy, comfortable and energy-efficient buildings can be created. In addition, her articles indexed by Science Citation Index are concentrated on building sustainably with the ecological environment. She is a member of the branch in Architectural Society of China. With her contribution to green architectural design, she received support from the National Natural Science Foundation of China (No. 51378365) and 4 national invention patents. Yang Li received a doctoral degree in engineering and is a postdoctoral professional in architecture at the College of Architecture &Urban Planning, Tongji University.
